FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How do I remove lash extensions on my own?
Dip a cotton ball, cosmetic pad, or makeup sponge in coconut/olive oil. Gently swipe your upper and lower lash lines, making sure not to get any of the oil in your eyes. This will give the extensions "slip" and help them slide right off your eye.
  • How do I properly care for the lash extentions?
Avoid Water for the First 48 Hours. Skip Oil-Based Products. Avoid Waterproof Eye Products. Steer Clear of Mechanical Lash Curlers. Give Them A Good Brush. Don't Pick Or Pull Lashes. Avoid Powerful Showerheads. Switch to a Silk or Satin Pillowcase.
  • How long do they last?
Because extensions are attached to the lash itself, they last as long as the natural growth cycle, or about up to 4 weeks.
  • Can I wear mascara?
Mascara can be worn on your bottom lashes and before your fill if necessary only if it's water based or specifically formulated for lash extensions. Waterproof mascara or any type of oil based mascara will dissolve the bonding agent and shorten the life of your eyelash extensions.
  • Can I shower with the extentions?
You should try to avoid getting your new lashes wet within the first 48 hours. The water will react with the eyelash extension glue and cause a flash cure. Basically, water will cause the lash bond to become brittle and break.
  • Do they hurt?
Eyelash extensions do not hurt. If your eyelash extensions hurt, it could mean that you're getting the extensions too long.
  • What if I cry with them on?
Lash extensions are water-resistant after at least 48 hours. It is very important to not cry during the process as crying can spread the glue/vapors causing irritation. Crying during the process will also make it very difficult for the glue to dry and bond the extension to your lashes.
